Big cheers (alcohol-free, of course)! Gnista award-winning spirits just brought home some serious international hardware! We finally sent our spirits to the judges at the International Wine & Spirits Competition, the world’s most respected drinks competition. And guess what? Their expert tastebuds approved. Big time.

Barreled Oak scored a stunning 96 points

Barreled Oak impressed the judges immediately, landing an incredible 96 out of 100 and earning top recognition.

“Beautiful fragrant nose with rich burnt caramel and hints of coffee and salt. Balanced brilliantly with hints of blackcurrant and wood on the palate, developing divinely into a rich caramel and spice finish.”

Not bad for something with zero alcohol, right? We’ll happily take that level of praise.

Floral Wormwood took silver with attitude

Floral Wormwood might be pouting (just a little) after securing a silver medal, but the judges were still charmed.

“A complex and moreish offering with a creamy butterscotch character. Aromas of tea and spice lead to dried apricot, vanilla, and honey on the palate.”

We reminded her that most drinks don’t get medals at all. She’s dramatic, but we still love her.

And there’s more…

Barreled Oak also picked up gold at the Dutch NAS Awards, and Floral Wormwood was selected as a judge’s favourite at the Alberta Beverage Awards. The world is finally catching up with what we already knew: Gnista award-winning spirits prove that complex and characterful alcohol-free drinks really do exist.

Let’s toast to bold flavours, big wins and alcohol-free spirits that keep surprising the world. 🥂✨
